Sleep Apnoea: Sleep apnoea is temporary obstruction in breathing while sleeping. It is because of blockage in upper respiratory tract. When air is blocked from entering into the lungs, the individual unconsciously gasps for air and sleep is disturbed. It often results in snoring and the patient may have a disturbed sleep.
Narcolepsy: Narcolepsy is excessive, uncontrollable daytime sleepiness. It is caused by a dysfunction of the brain mechanism that controls sleeping and waking.
Bruxism: It is involuntarily grinding teeth or clenching of the teeth while sleeping.
Parasomnias: These are abnormal behaviors during sleep like sleep terror, sleep walking.
Nocturia: Nocturia refers to frequent urination at night.
